Segment names (99 segments)
Every segment ID x12-tools has a name for -- pre-fills the Segment name column in the convention table. Sourced from Stedi's public X12 reference for every row here (see segment_names.py's docstring). Has elements shows whether that segment also has a full position-by-position breakdown below, in Element definitions -- click a "Yes" row to jump straight to it; "No" just means the breakdown hasn't been added yet, not that the segment name is wrong.

Element definitions (96 segments)
Every element x12-tools knows the name, requirement, data type, and length of -- what the Code inventory tool scans for and what a convention table's Segment name column pre-fills from. Source is "X12" for every row here -- some hand-curated from DLA convention PDFs and general X12 004010 knowledge, some from the 2026 backfill against Stedi's public X12 reference, but either way what matters for coverage is the standard, not which one did the typing.
