Every segment ID x12-tools has a name for -- pre-fills the Segment name column in the convention table. Has elements shows whether that segment also has a full position-by-position breakdown below, in Element definitions -- "No" just means the breakdown hasn't been added yet, not that the segment name is wrong.

Every element x12-tools knows the name, requirement, data type, and length of -- what the Code inventory tool scans for and what a convention table's Segment name column pre-fills from. Source is "x12-tools" for definitions hand-curated from DLA convention PDFs and general X12 004010 knowledge, or "Stedi" for the 2026 backfill sourced from Stedi's public X12 reference.
